Welcome back as we prepare for the start of the 2026 WNBA season with the Atlanta Dream. I'm very excited about the change of venue for five of the games this season. While the Gateway Arena offers a more intimate setting for fans, we're also thrilled to see the Dream pack the State Farm Arena. That's right, you read that correctly—game 1 is scheduled for May 17th as the season opener at the State Farm Arena, where they will face off against the Las Vegas Aces. Other games at the arena include June 20th against the Indiana Fever, June 22nd against one of the new expansion teams, the Toronto Tempo, August 16th again against the Fever, and September 19th against the Chicago Sky.
The Dream have played only two games at the State Farm Arena—first in 2024 and then in 2025—drawing over 17,000 fans each time. I personally can't wait for the season to start and have already purchased tickets to many of the games. I will be attending the headliner on May 17th. Tickets for the priority list presale go on sale April 1st at 9 a.m. but you need to sign up before then to get access. Single tickets go on sale April 3rd at 10 a.m. If you plan to attend any of these games, be prepared for an incredible experience filled with action, intense plays, and moves from some of your favorite players that will remind you why you love watching women’s basketball.
I highly recommend arriving early to account for parking and traffic, especially if it's your first time. As a native of Atlanta, I can tell you it will be quite chaotic. You might even run into some high-profile celebrities attending the games, which is a great chance to interact with your favorites. Most importantly, this season wouldn’t have been possible without meeting CBA terms—so let's continue cheering for these women and encouraging them to fight for the pay they deserve.
Let's go, DREAM!
